I have neither, but you'll know the carboard target as the one with the precise-diameter circular cutouts to press shotgun clay birds into. The other one has cut tabs you pop out and which grab the clay. I prefer the first, but there weren't any last time I was there (Torrance).

Looks like Wednesday is going to be a fine day for some lever gun action in the Mojave.

What a last couple of weeks. The re-pipe, wall repairs, me friggin' painting and last night right after the Dodger game, stinking TV dies! I mean DEAD!
Tried all the tricks to re-set. Nothing. Screw it! I'm going shooting tomorrow with the MLC. Arghhh! Think I'll start drinking Beam again. Friggin' house.Comment

I can't make it because I have an expensive wheel and tire delivery that I have to sign for, and I can't change the delivery date because I don't want these things lost in some black hole somewhere. They were supposed to ship Monday and be here today... I am not only pissed, I am very disappointed.
Not only do I have some really nice handloads waiting for both my 1894 SBL and my 1894FG, but I have some Freedom Mags (thanks to Saint Honorable Judge Benitez!) that I was going to feed my lone AR with...
I was looking forward to TWICE the normal dose of MLC FUN! tomorrow... and I have to stay home.

No worries Chris, I'm looking at going again real soon to shoot some 30-30. I should have some rounds loaded up next week.

I'll be in Mojave this sat, well around Barstow to be exact, but not to shoot, rather for a psytrance event lol.A guy told me one time "don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat from around the corner"
