Spring is here, rain has ceased for now, damn house repairs are done. I'm thinking the MLC needs to get OUT! And shoot! Soooon! Stinking cabin fever is trying to overtake me. Ain't happening! Loading more .45 Colt ammo tomorrow.

Alright. Instead of the Mo-Jay-Vee this week, I'll run on out to Philipp's and we can ooooh and aaaah at stuff together. Might even pro-cure some propellant I don't have any of, like Ramshot Enforcer... for my .41 California Copper loads.

I am going up to our club to embed the new shooting bench in concrete and start setting up flipping targets and some ar300 gongs. We put a 15 point rifle and pistol range in out to 200 yards I lancaster.

Chris, The plan is to meet up there at 10:30. I've got my Granddaughter all week so I have to stay close to the house.

Last time we hit the dirt, I had dinner in Mojave proper, simply to avoid metro freeway traffic. I would like to eat at that messican place round the corner from your house next week, though, but only if you and Tom go too.

Who am I kidding. I'm gonna eat there again no matter what. Because, traffic, and I love mex chow!

The new cable boxes for Spectrum came today. Direct TV and a separate internet bill was just getting too much.

I have no interest in sitting in 3PM traffic on my way back.

And this bugs the crap out of me. Its twice the drive that we have to the Mojave. Cole has a few weeks off in May and June before football training starts. I'm planning some father son time, a few days of fishing in the Sierras and maybe a few days scouting the Mojave for a more friendly shooting spot.

Where abouts in the Sierra's? I've fished all over that area. From Lone Pine to Topaz Lake. And a new shooting area? Oh yeah, we be talking tomorrow.

Chris, if you have a picture or link, I'll drive by my local Turners and look for some of those targets you've been talking about.
When you guys see this new spot you'll get what I'm talking about. It's hard to see from where we've been going in at. Its literally 30 yards south of where we've been shooting.
