    ^ ^ ^

I obviously didn't make it out to the Mojave today, but I may go on Monday...

    Who's with me?

That is good news Mark! How you feelin'? And Monday is my re-pipe re schedule! I'm goona go live in a friggin tee-pee. No stinking plumbing there. Dang leaky sponge of a house! Ok, back to good stuff: loaded up another 100 rounds of .45 Colt today. Soo, as soon as I burn, err, ahh, get the house taken care of, the MLC must meet! Need to wait for Mark to heal up and get his Win back. Things are shaping up. Damn house!

I'm getting a little better everyday Tom. I'll probably start doing a little walking this weekend. I see my doc on Wed, I'm sure she'll give me the thumbs up.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Duece, I'll be sending you a PM as soon as my re-pipe is taken care of.
I need to check for another lever rifle. Hmm, what caliber? Must ponder.

Goat, 45-70, 405 gr slug with 13ish grains of Unique. Thunderous. Does that thing cause rain when it lites? :-) How is the kick and accuracy?

Ye 'olnew 1894CSBL shoots well again. Not as much lead in it as I expected, only pushed out a couple of completely dark gray patches of slag before it started to come out halfway clean. I'll finish with a proper cleaning and start from scratch again, but the Bayou Bullets subsonic loads I shot today held to a quarter size or so at 20 yards with a 3MOA red dot on it, which is better than can be expected for that dot and offhand. My 40 S&W AR carbine with a 2moa dot was a bit tighter.

Main priority was finishing the 243 load development for this deer hunt I leave on in a week. It shot 0.77 and 0.91, so I'm happy with it. Back to the lever loading in a couple weeks.

45 or so hours until I pick up my new(old) Marlin, too!!!
