Go to the Warne website, load in your rifle specs and you'll find my setup. The rings are QDs so my iron sights are still usable.

Marlin 1894C .357 Scope Mount Recommendations?

My opinion; anything stronger than a 4x is too strong from a brush gun. 4x can take you out to 150 yds with ease (and for a .357, what size game are you hunting which requires anything stronger?).
Second, as I have gotten older the open sights of my 1894 (in .44 mag) are a tad too hard to see after sunset and into the brush - especially on an overcast day.sigpicand as a check against tyranny." Judge Benitez - March 2019Comment

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Thanks brother, your probably right about the pic rail but I just can't bring myself to put one of those on a lever gun. The 1984 is new to me, I'm just going to read and learn..
Enjoy your new scope. I'm looking forward to your reviewsIt takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I installed a good ol' Weaver brand rail atop my 1894's receiver. Works excellent with my Weaver Classic 1-3x scope and Burris QD low mount rings. This setup allows me to use my dovetail mounted Skinner rear sight (which I don't think they make anymore).

I have a 3-9x32mm AO scope mounted on my 1996 .357/.38 Marlin 1894CS using UTG Medium height QD rings (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004HIHQLM...v_ov_lig_dp_it) and a NcStar adapter rail (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016HDEDS8...v_ov_lig_dp_it).Comment

My apologies for the delay. I've had to deal with quite a bit of personal items since the OP. I went with the DNZ mount and it is a solid, high quality part. I've loctited everything down and torqued to spec. Cheek weld is solid and natural with this mount. The buckhorn sight folded out of the way, but I'm using a 20mm objective, so it could stay up without interfering.
I'll wait until the stuff cures before heading out to zero, although the excess smoke from the fires have affected air quality, so it might be a while before I get to try it.
Here are some photos.

Excellent! That looks a lot like my integeral Talley mount/ring set-up I bought from Henry for my Henry .357. Fool proof and solid. Done good.Comment

Years ago, I had the opportunity to shoot a 218 Bee in lever action; it was 30 years ago; I don't remember what it was... Fun to shoot though!
Have also had the opportunity to shoot a Browning BLR in 223Rem. That was a fun one.
Those should count right? They're 22 cal bullets

Me too!
For center fire rifle, I do have a preference for Savage 99's though. I find them more comfortable to shoot that the "94" Winchester, Marlin etc.
For pistol cartridge, the Marlin 94C is fun to shoot for sure.
Marlin 1895CB is fun in 45/70. Haven't shot much; have dies so need to reload

Thank you. Funny thing is, I am now in the process of converting it to the straight stock version. I like the look and feel of it better, but I'll keep all PG parts, just in case I change my mind later.Comment

That's a tough one, your going to need a new tang shape, lever and stock, +...good luck with the change. It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
