Most real world results will give you readings up to 90yards from what I have heard. Though I have only really cared enough to get a muzzle velocity reading.

I see there is now a Magnetospeed Sporter for about 190 bucks. How is this different from the "Pro"?

The cost difference between the full blown Magnetospeed and the Labradar makes the Labradar worth considering. But I can get a Sporter version and a whole bunch of Chronys to blast with handguns for somewhat less than a Labradar.

The biggest difference is that the sport or has a very kludgy control panel. It is also limited in some of the aftermarket options.

Honestly the best set up is to get a supporter and the labradar

I bought the LabRadar in 2016. Great chronograph.

But I did buy a Magnetospeed V3 earlier this year to mess around with the chassis mount setups. I think the Magnetospeed is actually pretty good as well.

I have a consistent 10fps skew between the Labradar and the Magnetospeed (Magnetospeed reads faster).

After buying my labradar I will never go back to a regular chrony. I do not miss messing with canopies in the sun/shade. Plus I like being able to use it in the indoor range with my pistols. It measures between 8-13 FPS different from my PACT chrony.

I don't have a LR but at the range the guy 10' to my left was using his and picking up my shots. Or atleast that's what he told me,

BTW I use a magneto speed.

I didn't see it either. I suspect someone at that company is making it as a side gig. I think his name was mentioned in the video, probably have to call and ask for him. A handy person could probably rig up something similar themselves.

Found this on snipershide. Might work for those who have triggering issues.
