Just saw a post on Instagram From Henry and they are coming out with a new series called "X", but could not find much else on this?

They may go black, but I don't see them going "tacti-cool"

Does it have a side loading gate on the receiver , instead of loading through the tube, because that's what I think Henry needs for its next evolution.

I completely agree, the same way Winchester has it. Not a fan of the tube feed system

I doubt Henry would do the side loading gate, if they did it would probably be like the Rossi 92 .454 that loads from the gate and tube.
Personally, tube loading is much easier.

I think its a smart move. Caters to a different audience, its not like they are removing all their other models

I like tube loading, but it can be embarrassing when your grip slips and the tube launches downrange.

The main tactical advantage of gate loading is you can easily "top off" (equivalent of a tactical reload).

I understand there is a different market for everything. Some people like the tacti-cool stuff and others like the classic look. Nothing wrong with a company venturing off what they normally do. As of now I cant say I would be in this audience since there is no information on this series, but again I am interested. Interpret that as you wish.
