Dunno. Maybe it was copied over from the .308 listing and they futzed it up. Or maybe it's a special run made for 58.4 gr bullets. The normal RPR is 1 in 7 and did half-moa in reviews.

Oh, crap. I first posted it as sort of a joke. But now that you made me look up the rifling, I did too much reading on it. It's so cheap I might have to get one. It uses .308 length magazines so I could load 80 or maybe even 90 gr bullets and have myself a poor man's .224 Valkyrie.

Thank you OP. That was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up. I was looking to get myself a new toy in the next few months, but with a deal like that I had to take them up on it.

Maybe it was a bad assumption on my part, but it takes AICS mags and I don't think they make a .223 size mag.

I know, right? I also want a 6mm, just cuz. That should be a flat shooting sucker. But I already have a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle, and I still have just enough sanity left to not buy 3 different chamberings in precision type rifles.

AR magazines are limited to about 2.25" cartridge length.
2.5" is a LOT longer than an AR magazine in comparison.

The chassis is the same as the larger calibers.I own a 6.5 RPR and had a .223 RPR.The 223 take weird property non-pmag magazines.They are ar10 length mags with modified feed lips to hold the smaller 223 rounds.Ruger scrapped my 223 but I still have the mags.I use them in my 6.5 to single feed.
