Eye Fatigue when shooting

Ever get eye fatigue when shooting? This helps way more than I thought! We all want our precision bolt action rifles to shoot well. But the nut behind the gun needs to do his part too We got sizes for nearly all rifle scopes we would put on our bolt action rifles.

Just for fun i learned to shoot with both eyes open... still miss the target. LOL!

Takes getting used to having both eyes open when shooting. It’s a learning process like shooting with a non-dominant extremity. But once learned and you hear that ping on metal targets, it’s a good reinforcement to your efforts.

Your eye's are only good for about 7 seconds. So blinking is important. Try not to stare down the target.

Blinders work well. You also want to rest your eyes and stare out into the distance.

The Eye Blinder is designed to keep both eyes open. The natural tendency for most shooters is to squint with the weak eye.

It is also a challenge for cross dominant eye shooters, such as myself who shoot right handed, but left eye dominant. My left eye constantly wants to take control and that forces me to squint, causing fatigue.

With Eye Blinder, I can keep both eyes open and because my left eye is "blacked" out, my right eye takes over.

I shoot both eyes open but when looking down a scope, I close my weak eye. When I open it, my vision is blurry.

I'm cross dominant as well. Right handed, but left eye dominant. I shoot long guns left hand. Pistols right hand.

However, I've started training myself to shoot long guns right handed. It doesn't feel as natural and I can't get on target as fast with my carbines right handed, but like anything, I'm sure if I do it enough times, I'll get used to it.
