Always wear plugs and muffs together and never shoot it when your sinuses are blocked up.
There is some kind of passage way or tube between you eyes and nose and when you light off 200+ grains of gunpowder the concussion pushes your eyes back into there sockets.
If the passage way or tube is blocked some shooters get a very very bad headache.
Some shooters will wear a football or motorcycle Helmut to help with the concussion.

That’s the Eustachian Tube. Anyone who SCUBA dives (like me, haha!!) knows it well.

When you perform the Valsalva Maneuver to equalize pressure in your middle-ear on decent, you force air through that tube.

Interesting that it comes into play with a big-bore rifle, haha!!

Went through my scope crate and found two candidates for this rig.

The problem is Mrs jf64k trips over it (and all the other crates of junk). Then I get to hear about it for days, haha!!
