T/C Compass $198.98

Had my new TC Compass 308 out for the first time yesterday, loved it. Bolt knob sucks, but Glades Armory has that covered with nice aluminum knurled replacement. Falcon M18+ 4-18x44 works great on it and seems to be a good match price wise (just over rifle cost). Highly recommend this setup as entry bolt rifle.

Any opinion on accuracy?

Great info about the bolt handles. Do you have pics or will you post when you install the bolt handle?

I received my TC/Smith and Wesson rebate prepaid card today... sounds like if you use it at Cabela's you get 5% back... hmmm... maybe it stacks with Active Junky too, heheh.

I did turn a $200 rifle into a $900 package though.

Kind of silly to fixate on that IMHO. You can't shoot a$400 rifle that you steal for $200... unless you put a scope on it. Just because it is a $200 promo, you don't have to put a Leapers on it. You think if you pay $1200 for a Rem 5R, you shoot it like that? Nah, you shoot a $2500 rifle and no one ribs you about it, heheh. My 700 started at $800, but I still decided to add optics, hahah. You want a sling and bipod? Why is that a crime because you started out at $200?

Looks great! Love that bolt handle too, might have been a better choice, mine with the o-rings knurled is nice feeling but those o-rings walk out of the trough and will stretch and get looser. At least I can swap out easily now!

Yeah I dunno... you kind of have to get them all side by side to compare. I think the oversized one that looks like a Badger Ordnance is probably best now that I see how small this one is... way better than the stock one but still not super large IMHO.
