It looked bigger on my laptop, but it's still 8 ten thousands over, lol.

It's been a while since I've been out there, Joel. I need to get back soon. Just been out of town visiting family, work, life, etc.

I think this was the first 3x600 I shot with this rifle. I don't know what happened in that first string, but the stars aligned. I think I've seen some folks totally clean a string or two though.

If you want to be more accurate with your measurements, you subtract the bullet HOLE diameter from the overall group measurement.
The bullet does not make a hole the same size as the bullet because the target material stretches open as the bullet tears the hole.

By measuring a single bullet hole in the same target paper with the same measuring tool that you measure the overall group with, you get a more accurate hole diameter to subtract from the measured overall group hole.

The 3 rounds are the only 3 rounds he puts on paper so they are representative of how the gun/shooter work, not a handpicked zinger group.
I give him a hard time about his zero being off on the first pisture he sent me, but I guess that day was one of his first at the range and he was trying different loads to see what the gun liked.
I also give him a hard time about shooting only 3 rounds on later pictures he sends me...

Harbor Freight calipers, can't trust that reading.

                      Just kidding, great shooting there.

I wished I could have been there last weekend. Had honey-do's after two weekends down in Coalinga... It would have been nice to get the dust off the 6 Dasher barrel.
