The bolt face appears to be unaltered by what I can see. Seems to fit the 25-06 case.

Apparently 25 WSM had/has pressure issues while 25 WSSM was better behaved; thus winchester only produced the WSSM.
My response was to the poster that said there were only a few cartridges made in 25 caliber.
The 25WSM is commonly called a FatCat in wildcat circles.
Kinda like a 25 Souper based on the 308 Winchester.
None of the WSSM rounds where popular because the necks were as thick as 50 BMG brass and you couldn't load them down without collapsing the cases.
People who turn necks don't have these issues as they tend to use there own reamers as well.

You are probably better off using 243 or 223 WSSM brass for the 25 WSSM as expanding the necks will thin them out.
The 25 WSM is strictly a wildcat because there are only two good bullets made for the 25 caliber cartridges. Randy Robinette at BIB bullets and the Berger 115.
