    Come out to TX.

Think I'm gonna take the CSAT LR Hunter class with my new 700 in a few weeks. Kinda pricey but the schedule lines up with what I can do better than the other school I was looking at.

Tiger Valley (near Waco) has some great classes too. Their precision rifle 1 class is 3 days and only $500.

Great thread. Being new to the sport I am struggling to find information on training in SoCal as well. I'm also willing to drive a couple hours and pay as well. Looks like I'll be trying an Appleseed event in the near future to start.

Haven't used them my self, but I hear good things about Appleseed
here is their 2017 California schedule

Gunsite 270 is the gold standard, being in SoCal, you probably could just drive over.

Thanks! I checked them out but the next class is September. That's a lot of time to learn bad habits between now and then lol.
