I looked into that lynn the price of an action + bottom metal is more expensive than just buying an ADL. Its weird to me

Most people buying actions are going custom stock and DBM, getting the action trued. They're building guys out of them, not trying to piece together for less than new

The Americans are 1:9 which still works with 105's and 107' BTHPs.
The RPR is 1:8 to take the 115's and longer 100+gr VLD bullets.

The only way to know is to choot em and see what happens.
I have a bunch of hand loads to test, but there's probably four feet of snow on the range I use right now and more on the way.

This. I am trying to think of where to shoot, and even the high deserts of NV will be covered for a month. I actually drove to Reno Guns and Range last week to shoot indoors. I don't want to make that a habit-

.243 American fan here. It's one of those super versatile calibers that has been getting it done in a multitude of applications for a while. Not flashy and new-tested, proven, and ubiquitous.
