Ok, looks like I finally got to the right forum for my question. Thanks to other members for pointing me here. No thanks to some other members who get snarky over the internet.
I am curious about the value of a 1937 Winchester Model 70 30-06 (30GOV'T06 as it is stamped on the gun). I do not have pictures to post yet. Gun is in good condition. Was used on deer hunts so there is some blueing that has worn off. There are also some minor scratches in the stock. Gun is rust free and kept well oiled. The stock does not appear to be original. It looks like a super grade stock but the gun does not appear to be a super grade. The words are not stamped on the mag plate nor anywhere else on the gun so I am thinking it is not SG. Anyways, I have only done limited research so of anyone can help me figure out what the gun is worth that would be very helpful.
