My most accurate 44mag lever actions are Browning 92 and Marlin 94, but they're the only two I have.

They're pretty close, but I probably shoot the Browning a little better because I like its sights better. The Marlin is better for mounting a scope, I haven't though, both still have original sights.

If you are considering a Rossi 92 in 44 Magnum, keep in mind that the twist rate is 1 in 30 inches, so it may not stabilize the heavier 240 or 300 grain bullets.

[EDIT] And it looks like the Marlin 1894 and Henry Big Boy rifling twist is even slower, both at 1 in 38 inches.

Aside from bore/rifling issues, I think the most influential factor in accuracy of lever action rifles in pistol calibers, is the quality of the sights.

Those barrel-mounted buckhorn rear sights and bead front sights are alright, but if you can get an aperture/peep style rear sight, and mount it as far back on the rifle as you can to improve sight radius, you will notice a vast improvement on your rifle's practical accuracy.

Tang-mounted ladder sights are the best, but can get pricey. If you get tang sights, you'll probably want a globe front sight with changeable inserts to match.

Machined from Solid Bar stock, Skinner Sights offers improved function, durability, and appearance over factory sights. Specializing in Peep Sights - Aperture sights. Check out our innovative and expanding sights, optics and accessories product lines.

On globe sights, you get better prices directly from Lee Shavers site then from Buffalo Arms. Lee Shaver's globe sight is a variation on Lyman #17 sight, it contains protected spirit level.
For pistol calibers Marble Tang sights and Skinner sights work great and by removing aperture, you can turn them into ghost ring sights for poor lighting conditions.

My Marlin (JM barrel) .44 Magnum 1894 Levers are really accurate.
              I own 3....

In reality accuracy depends mostly on what sights you have.....this one is a
              2006 model.

For hunting in short open areas a scope helps...this is my 2000 model year

In .44 magnum. I just hold it.

I had a Rossi in 44 magnum and it wasn't anything special.

Older Marlin rifles like the 30-30, 444, and 35-Rem were vary accurate. I do not know about the pistol caliber models or the newer Remlin rifles.

I read a little ditty about this a few months ago but I wasn't exactly sure what the point was the writer was trying to make.

If your pushing those 240 grain pills will a full mag charge shouldn't it stabilize the bullet better?

I guess this explains why those 180 grain UMC rounds work so much better in my 44.

300gr bullets need a faster twist. Both of my 44s do fine with 240gr bullets. Where the Rossi may be better is with cast lead bullets. It doesn't have micro groove rifling at least my Rossi 45 Colt doesn't.
