I dont think the A7 is the quality people think when they hear Sako.

Its the model 85 Sako that makes people dizzy. My sense is the A7 is more like a rebranded Tikka?

The A7 looks like a Tikka T3 with the top of the receiver cut open and integral Picatinny bases.

You made a very good decision. You won't regret it. I have an Sako Finnbear, made in 1963. I've bought traded and sold a heap of rifles. This one always stays. Its the one I hunt with.
