If you're really into giving her a gift, fill out the OPLAW form for her and hand it to her with $20, and a stamped envelope addressed to DOJ as indicated on the form.
At what point did #2 change from Paperless to requiring the OPLAW?

...and should this http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=124237 be updated?

Last week I was reading this thread and was going to respond that I had just bought my Grand son a Rossi 22/410 matched set. As I was typing, I realized the 11 day wait at Dicks was up that day and ran out the door before work so I could get it, lol. So here is my post. Thank for the reminder. That is a great gun you got your Daughter. We have to keep gun ownership alive.

Effective 2014. And no, old posts don't get updated, the Wiki took over the job to stay current. Unfortunately, the wiki is down, related to the GeoVario problem that took down Calguns last month.
ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Thanks. The wiki 404'd, now I understand why. The link I provided was what came up as an alternative.

I have two of them. Both shot Perazzi shotguns when they were in high school. My older son shot it with his college team, also. Oh, by the way, I have a like new HRA Garand also.

I bought a Glock 19 Gen4 for my daughter when she graduated her academy. It was nice, because I could reverse the magazine release to the other side. Now, she is getting a rifle. I may buy her a Glock 34 MOS if she decides to shoot in the pistol team.

This week, I got her a Ruger M77 243 Winchester with Mannlicher stock. It was pretty cute, and I think it will fit her just fine. It looks like she is following my foot steps on job and hobbies. Hope she will get a nice buck with it.

Maybe one day, I will go hunting with her.

You are an awesome dad! Mine asked me for a rifle, and a handgun when she was younger. She got a S&W M&P revolver in .38sp. It was a perfectly maintained ex-police service revolver. I also got her a S&W M&P15, and for hunting deer and hogs, when she turned 15, A Savage 10TR in .308.

You are a good dad, also.

When my daughter graduated her academy, I gave her a Glock 19 Gen4. She is left handed, and I changed the mag release to the other side. It was one of consecutively numbered pair. Now, she has one, and I have one.
