Has he come out with his Junta Urban Nutnfancy Kalashnikov affixed with a Performance Oriented Suppressor?

That youtube pays people who get a number of hits on ads and that companies will pay for advertisement? Is that a serious question or are you just wanting to nitpick?

James Yeager claimed he made $1000 one month on youtube. Considering it came from James Yeager, that could mean anything.

Yes and back then he used to do 6-10 minute knife reviews with occasional shooting videos.

Now he does 45 minute tacticool videos. Sounds like you're speculating just as much.

Standish - excellent job, you outed a NFPer in our midst! I don't know why Cypriss32 is bent on this, it's just capitalism.

Joking aside, the CPC for the kinds of things that he reviews vary from $0.25 to about $5 and he has a total of ~200M views. If he has good ad engagement he could have made $100k off his channel. It's hard to pin it down, it could be a lot higher or lower depending on the ads and his users, but $1000 per 1M views is not unreasonable and YT takes a ~50% cut. Again, that's a WAG but I'd be surprised if he made less than $50k or more than $300k.

FPS Russia makes about $250K per year on just his videos.

I don't undestand why people are so surprised about this. The top YouTube video game reviewer made $7.3M last year off of something like 3.5B views. There is a fraction of a penny to be made from each view, if you have hundreds of millions of views it adds up. I know it looks like "some dude and his buddy filming with his cell phone in their spare time" (and a lot people do start like that) but there's a lot of business going on behind the scenes.

This rifle could be a troll to get people to watch his videos, or not. He could be making real money, or not.

True the guy gets pretty carried away with accronyms and has long videos and loves to be the center of attention. But, I find his videos ok for the most part. I dont watch them much anymore because I dont have that sort of time but there was a time when I learned a lot about products I considered buying.

Just dont take anything for gospel and input your own experience and you will have a good starting point on a new purchase after watching a review of his (or any).
