weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

Jeebus, you'd think with their money they'd put something together that was nicer.

Gofasterdammit nailed it: " In short, the Siete is a mish mash of available parts with no innovation, slapped together most likely in a mass-produced fashion, and sold at a significant mark up."

GAP is tried and true, and cheaper, and doesn't have the fanboy following. They have my vote and my money over large any day

lol, that isnt what you said. i think its pretty obvious by now that damn near everything larue puts out is considered high end.

GAP has a bigger fanboy base than larue by far. go check every other thread on snipershide.

You really want to argue semantics over a one off?

I think it's pretty obvious that making claims about something that has not been tested is foolish. If you want to buy into brand hype, by all means waste your own money.

What did I start. Didn't mean to start all this. I just finished a 5R in 308. I'm thinking a 300 win mag would be cool next 😊

I like how people (haters) are bashing it before they have even handled one and before it has started production. Clearly you hate the name that is going to be on it because you don't actually know anything else about it. It is all speculation and to me it sounds quite negative and foolish. Can you guarantee that the AI is the only chassis option available? Why not wait until the product is released and judge the quality of an actual rifle not hate because of your preconceived notions and doubts.

Remington is garbage Plenty of actual data on existing products to back up this FACT

I think you just validated some of the skeptics... there isn't anything to judge yet - so (some) people are questioning how it could be determined so remarkable?

No different from the fanboys saying it's going to be great before they've even handled one and before it has started production.

Nearly all the "bashing" in this thread is saying that it's a consumer chassis, with a 700 clone action, a currently available bolt shroud safety, and it will likely cost more than having a good smith do the same thing with the same off the shelf parts. Three of those things are indisputable, would you like to make a bet on the fourth?

This is not to say it won't be good, all evidence points to it being good.

I would assume that it would be priced similarly to AI and Sako rifles. We'll see how it competes against them

Sometimes fanboys can't handle skepticism of their favorite brands and label anyone questioning something as if it won't be perfect, as a "hater".

Looks like they built the fore end out of some of those Costco shelving units..
