    AIM Suplus Star $269.95 bucks

Sorry they are $239.95 oops not a bad price

Anyone in the know about AIM surplus pistol" what years they were made, the over all quality, would you add this to your collection. It appears not to be a C&R?

Spanish made Star Super B 9mm caliber Handguns. Awesome "1911 style" 9mm handguns, built with a quality of craftsmanship you just do not see anymore. The "Super" resembles the 1911 in appearance yet incorporates the locking mechanism of the FN Hi Power. They will have checkered synthetic grips and include 2 8rd magazines. Expect them to have some metal finish wear as the pictures show. Mechanically they are in excellent condition and are incredible shooters. Specs include: 5.25" Bbl; 8.03" Overall; 2.21 lbs weight.

I saw their email too and wondered if other mags would be available or if 9mm 1911 mags would fit.

I love the look of that P64 Polish Radom pistol.

I wouldn't be surprised if you see the Star Super appear on Sootch's youtube channel. He has been reviewing AIM surplus guns lately

Great gun. Bought two from J&G. Luckily I tested them at the range before I left Prescott because one had a broken firing pin(J&G replaced the pin). Heads up most are blues but a there are some that are parkerized.

Edit: I got the regular Model B which is C & R eligible. With SSE gone you can't get the Super in California.

No Super B for California unless you can find one to PPT. But J&G does have or did have regular Model Bs that are C&R so you can go there and buy one or have one shipped here to your FFL01.

AIM has been doing this a very long time and if they were old enough to be C&R they would have them listed that way.

Sucks to live in CA at times.
          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

YES you CAN! You just have to check the production date!

            "Model B-Super
Made from 1946 to the end of classic-model production in 1983, model Bs with Super upgrades were produced."

Star brand pistols were easily the best made Spanish pistols---but be aware that they have been out of production for a VERY long time---so don't count on much by way of parts or extra magazines support. Also be careful about some of their models as they are chambered in 9mm Largo NOT 9X19 (9mm Luger) and will be difficult to find ammo for. I've owned a few Stars in my time---carried a 9mm Firestar during the "Rodney King" riots of 1992...

Thee take take heir own unique mags not a 9mm 1911 magazine. I have a Super B. Turners used to sometimes sell the B model around 2004-2005 or so for $200 on sale I had 2 but they had issues. AIM and others usually charge more for C&R eligible versions of the Star.
