I hate fibers, worthless to me. IMO, if you can't see your sights under a bright sun you have more serious problems. Not as accurate as target style sights, useless during the night, not any faster to pick up then any other dot sights, and they are most prone to failure. Just my opinion.Comment

Neither one of those. A thin black blade front sight provides for the best accuracy without covering up most of your target. If it is too dark for you to see the sights, it is too dark to know what you are shooting at. Also, any kind of dots do not do anything but distracting and compromising a true aim.
For short distance defensive shooting, you should be able to just shoot without aiming or even looking at your sights. If you can not do that within 21 to 30 feet, you certainly need more training and range time. No marketing gimmick is going to fix that problem.
