You should rent them all then decide which one feels better in your hands and which one you feel comfortable shooting because they all hold different. Can't go wrong with any of them.Comment

off roster pistol after 1/1/2015
Anyone seen any info on how much ppt of off roster handgun prices have increased? I wonder how many individuals stocked up prior to the firearms falling off roster.? We are seeing people posting on here that they went out of state and bought handguns and brought them back. Now they are trying to register. Sorry this was posted in new post don't know how it ended here.Comment

The Bereatta M9 is the most diverse platform out there, you can change caliber, barrel length, and slides. Last year i started getting rid of all my plastic pistols and went all steel, for me, it was the right choice. With that said, you certainly want a handgun that is comfortable and a joy to shoot….Comment

Have you considered revolvers as well? I love me a good revolver.Originally posted by beccibooWhy make it clear when there is an agency that can make up and enforce their own laws? Its one of those things where you need to make the personal decision as to whether you want to be right or free. Is it worth it to you?

You really, really, should shoot any handgun before you buy it. Especially a semi.Comment

I have the xd9, it was a great decision for my first pistol. I am considering replacing it now that I am a more experienced gun owner and shooter. If budget is a concern right now and you for whatever reason can not hold off, you really can't go wrong with either the xd9 or glock 19 (they are basically the same thing, only the glock doesn't have a grip safety). The xd9 also comes with a gun and magazine holster so that might be something to consider. If you can swing the extra money, I would check out the some of the higher priced options (CZ, sig, berreta). All of those are great choices, but they are definitely something you should check out at the range before you buy. The xd9 and glock 19 are cheap enough and generic enough to work with pretty much everyone so I doubt you'd have anything to worry about with those purchases.WTS HK USP45c http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1304283Comment

Well I did it. On the left is my wife's Browning 1911 A1 .22. Light weight and easy to shoot. I'm sure it will end up with pink hand grips before too long.
I decided on the Springfield DX 9mm. It just fits.
I will be picking them both up on the 14th.
Wanting to go shoot them surely will speed up my recovery time!! lol
Thanks everybody for your input. I will still be looking for a Tokarev though.....Attached FilesComment
