I was offered a excellent condition model 20 with 1000+ rnds,5 mags, and a holster for $800. My concern is the barrel, does it need to be swapped out? I don't want any more plastic guns but I am seriously considering it. Thanks for many help guys.

Personally I don't think thats such a great deal, but you shouldn't need a barrel at only 1,000 rounds, it's a Glock for Christ sakes! Lone Wolf makes some great after market barrels for about $150.

Yes, I would upgrade the barrel with something from LoneWolf, KKM or Stormlake. Reason is the older G20s and G22s had issues with chamber support lacking. (At 6 o'clock) I am not saying it's a serious problem, but running Hot Ammo will made the Brass Smile.

Is it the 90 degree extractor or 15 degree extractor? I do not know what they are worth, but the 90 degree extractor is more rare. I personalty wouldn't pay $800 for a used Glock unless it was a Glock 1 trough 16 model.
