.45 ACP fits in all my tools, GAP forces me to one brand that cause limp wrist syndrome and car pool tunnels. I'm not a Mazda fan either..

I load the GAP rounds for use in a S&W 625; the slightly shorter cases tend to wobble a bit less in moon clips. When firing factory loads in the same weapon, there is not much difference between it and the .45ACP.
If you like it, shoot it.

The ONLY, and I do mean ONLY, positive to the .45 GAP is that you can stuff it into a frame for people with smaller size hands. For the double stack .45s most are far from large. Even the Glock 21SF is very comfortable. I have M/L size hands and actually prefer the medium beavertail backstrap on my Gen4 G20 and G21. Higher pressure means less brass life for the GAP, while I'm still using ACP cases from Pre-WWII in my reloads. You can't find ammo for it. A few boxes? Come back when you can talk about a few cases. Can you buy cases for it at $60/1000? Everything else can be considered either a clear tie or a win for the ACP.

The market has spoken and the .45 GAP has a lot in common with the .41 Action Express.

GAP is never going to garner wide acceptance. The only thing that matters is that you appreciate it.

The one brand doesn't cause limp wrist syndrome, you're just naturally susceptible to it.

The 45gap is the answer to a question nobody asked

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Other than Glock who makes a gun chambered in .45 GAP? I've never seen anything other than a Glock.

I don't ever plan on owning one, not looking to add anymore calibers to my already crowded safe and reload bench.
But if it works for you, I'm happy for you. Just as there is no perfect gun, there also is no perfect caliber. After I say this I'm sure some rookie will jump up and say 'sure there is, Glock 19 and 9mm' they learned that from spending way to much time on the Internet and not enough time actually using a gun.
I have never really looked into the Gap, because it's advantages are not needed by me. My paws are fairly large and work well with large frame handguns.
But I do believe there is some truth to both the 357 Sig and 45 gap, being an attempt to get their name on a caliber like S&W did with the .40.
I'm sure it works well and will do the job and as long as Glock makes gun chambered for it, it will be made. But I would save every bit of brass I could find and be ready for the day the stop making them.
I know there where some LE depts. using it, that will help the round stay in production.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

                    Than you for the review.
It is good to know from another perspective.

Yeah, it was a really good review, honest, non-biased. I'm not a .45 GAP fan from my statement above, but would not want to challenge the .45 GAP either... It is here to stay!

I agree, the caliber tree huggers can fight for days but will never understand shot placement. Yes tree huggers, double 00 buck shot is useless when you miss!

Pic from 2008. Ammo was so cheap, I had to buy a gun to shoot it.

People love to rag on every caliber 9 vs 40 vs 45ACP
                            and so on
I you enjoy shooting it then who cares what others think about it. They aren't paying your way.

If I remember SA Had an XD model for a year or two and also Smith and Wesson (not sure about Smith). I think the .45 GAP WAS INTRODUCED IN 2003. It never really caught on so Springfield and Smith dropped it from their line. Now, only Glock makes a pistol chambered in 45 GAP.
