CZ with reloads?

so far i've been shooting with blazer brass and will be shooting WOLF tomorrow at the range.

for those of you with CZ, specifically the P01, do they play well with the reloads like those from LAX Ammory or others?

i see most 1K rounds go for about $0.19 ea, which i'm willing to bite, but not sure if my P01 will play well with it or not.

I've been shooting 124 grain Freedom Munitions loads on my 75B and Sphinx. No issues whatsoever. I wouldn't say it's match ammunition, but I can group pretty well with it. Great range ammo

i'm not familiar with Freedom Munitions. i did see they have some available for about $0.19 per. are those reloads?

i like the fact they are brass casing, so i can use to practice at indoor range.

Well I am not familiar with remanufactured ammunition but I have made at least 60k rounds of 9mm/.40S&W for the CZ75 in the last few years.

Except for some experimentation with aftermarket springs, followers, and base pads, I have not had any malfunctions so far.

You'll be fine, it's a CZ, but it will be really dirty, I will spend at least an hour or two cleaning it thoroughly.

i'm not too worried about malfunctions.. but that's definitely good to know after 60K and still rocking.

Yeah Freedom is great. They ship fast and are competitively priced. Today they are running free shipping on orders over $150 (just got the email lol). I shoot their 9mm, 40S&W in 165 grain, and have some 230 grain 45 ACP left (I reload 45 mostly now). When you get on their email list they have random 1-day sales

It's all brass cased and you can order either reman or new ammunition. My glocks and 1911 eat it up too

i use freedom on my sp01 w/ no issues!! freedom is gtg!

All I shoot is freedom munitions through my CZs and other guns. I've shot their 9mm, .380, 40sw, 45, and 10mm with one round that needed two strikes to fire.

They sell what would actually be considered reloaded ammo but they also sell new manufacture ammo as well. I think their abbreviations to differentiate the two is New vs Reman. The only difference is a new case or not.

i've used blazer brass no issue. shot maybe 20 rounds of reload freedom munitions 115gr and no issue in my p-01.

my buddy has shot many rounds of freedom munitions through his sp-01 with no issues. triune reloads is another story, everytime we've been to the range he has had at least 1 issue every time we've used it.

I have had 100% reliability with LAX reloads in my stock P-01. Probably only talking a few hundred rounds, but no issues.

I did experience the occasional light strike using reloads with a single action CZC worked-over SP-01, and I ended up getting an extended firing pin and going to a slightly firmer hammer spring to make it work with all primers.

In general, LAX reloads have been extremely reliable for me, but at one point they were selling cases of factory new ammo for about the same price as their reloads.

+1, Freedom M also has 147grain 9mm, which can be hard to find. 150 rounds (reman) through the P-01 and no problems so far. It is a bit dirty though, and tends to leave some yellow crystal residue (un/semi-burnt powder?).

all my cz's have been fine with freedom munitions(115, 124 and 147 grain) with one exception. for some strange reason, only my p07(cajunized) has issues with freedom's 124 non-reloaded ammo. The same ammo works in my other modded cz's and that p07 eats 115 grain fine.
