    My single-shot AR pistol build

I built a single shot AR pistol from an 80% lower. Used an 80% Arms lower and their Easy Jig. The machining was done with a Harbor Freight drill press, and a Porter Cable handheld laminate router.

I didn't like the idea of plunging the router into the lower for the final pass, so once I got near the bottom I milled out the trigger hole. I used that space to start my final passes.

Milling complete. I used a deburring tool to clean up the edges. There are light machining marks visible. I could remove them by sandblasting them, but I prefer the way it looks now. It's more obvious that I did it.

    Guts installed

Bullet button and sled magazine to make this a single shot pistol.

Complete pistol. It currently does not have any sights, but I will be adding an Aimpoint Micro T-1 soon. I won't be installing any iron sights.

Noveske 10.5" Infantry Upper, 5.56 1/7" twist and KX3 muzzle device

Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun Trigger
    BCM gunfighter pistol grip
BCM pistol buffer tube/spring/h2 buffer and quick detach end plate
    Original Bob Sled magazine
    Magpul MS3 Single QD sling

    Thanks for looking.

Nicely done! How long did it take you to mill it out?

Maybe 2-3 hours. I didn't keep track. I was making very slow and shallow passes, vacuuming the bulk of the flakes and making sure my end mill bit depth didn't change.

            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I like how you're using CGN to document that you did build it as a single shot first. Date and time stamp are genius.

I'll be doing the same, but good thing I'm a machinist and can do this in like 10 min
