This could just be a bad round as well. It does happen. Even with the primer strike being off center I would have expected the round to fire. Could be wrong. But I think you just got a dud of a round.
As for himurax13's comment, he could be right as well. Might be a good idea to download your magazines by 2 rounds. Topping off your magazines, on any semi-auto gun, is a bad idea. Puts too much tension on the springs and leads to a laundry list of issues. It is hard for the inexperienced shooter to accept, but it's the first thing a competition or highly trained LEO or military shooter will tell you when you start experiencing issues.
