OK, then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! If YOU keep electing those liberals and give them jobs in Sacramento, that is EXACTLY what they will DO TO YOU IN RETURN!!!

Not a bad idea - how hard is it to remove mag disco? And are the new Sigs triple serialized? I would be worried about splitting up serial numbers, you may do more harm than good to the resale value. Of course a CA version Sig is already worth much less in my eyes, and they also seem to linger for a very long time in the marketplace compared to off roster Sigs so I guess you couldn't do much worse than having one in the first place.

But when I see people hack up the barrel threads on a Hk Mk23 instead of just buying another barrel I . They just knocked $500 off the value when they do it, because Hk isn't going to make them a new barrel with the proper serial number...

If you will be taking it on your yacht, or you scuba/snorkel, or Hey... if you're like most of us, and you simply like to swim with your gun on,
I'd recommend the MK25 with it's phosphate coated internals for corrosion protection.

Both my P26 Navy Mk25 and P229R, both Brownafornia-compliant, have the LCI that many get into a lather about. The LCI doesn't bother me much. I like the indication itself.

I think the lettering is stupid...a typical liberal, ruling class bit of insulting nonsense. Warning labels are now a plague on society. Their assumption is always that YOU are stupid, and/or YOU will sue somebody if you shoot yourself. Frankly, if someone shoots themselves, be my guest. It's a Darwinian principle.

That said, I don't see it when I'm shooting, it doesn't affect holstering or handling, and it doesn't register on me hardly at all, except when I read complaints about it on this Forum.

p226 is overall a great gun, but a little pricy. i like the elite line better for p226. don't forget the X5

Did you mean the P226 Navy? Because yes, I will admitt that it is overpriced, I can't tell you how many have told me that I paid $200 extra for that Anchor. IIRC the P226 Standard should cost less than the P226 Elite.

The LCI wouldn't bother me nearly as much as the mag disco. And I agree the LCI lettering on top of the Sig slides is the worst. I am buying a XDs 3.3 .45 tomorrow via PPT and while I was bummed out that it had the LCI, I realize they all have them no matter what state you are in. But at least it doesn't have mag disconnect, or the crazy lawyer lettering. It would be easy to make a non functional filler from a spare LCI.

And on the flip side, my LC9S had no LCI but did have the mag safety It was very easy to remove it though, but I can probably never carry it with such a modification, and I would never carry it without such a modification - a Catch 22.

I get to pick up my p226 enhanced elite 9mm tomorrow from Gun Jail at DAS. Very excited to be picking up my first Sig Pistol. I love my Sig 522 Swat!

I was dating a woman that qualified 'expert' for her Army Marksmanship Badge with her p226 .40.
I don't know how big a deal that really is... but she is damn hot (Long Beach) and she loves her p226.

I love mine too... Had good experience with their customer service. Their custom shop runs
specials occasionally... trigger enhancement pkg, SRT, etc.

My first Sig was a P226 Stainless Elite. I have become a Sig guy since.

Well since everyone is posting theirs...

I opt for no LCI/Mag Disconnect on mine since its about $50 cheaper.
