The one you can afford to pay the most for, of course. Pick any car you desire and look at all the trims and packages that model is available in. Various price points, but same car with slightly different "dressing". What you're willing to pay and what trims do you prefer?
Only you can answer that. -
The one you buy without any CA features via SSE while you still have the chance. No way I would ever own a 226 with CA features, or a Ferrari with training wheels. Once you're resolved to buy a real Sig 226, it just comes down to which one you like and which one you have the cash to buy - they are all very nice. I like them all
The Mk25 is always calling out to me, hopefully I get an off roster version via SSE someday. For now I rock a vintage W. German no-rail 226 from 1989.Last edited by SkyHawk; 12-21-2014, 8:38 PM.Comment

Like Sky Hawk, I have a no rail P226 made in West Germany. One of the best pistols I have fired. I would never sell that one.Comment

Depends. If you're going to put things like night sights and the short reset trigger on it anyway, then you might as well buy an Elite (or similar) as it will probably save you time and money in the long run."Kestryll I wanna lick your doughnut."

that sir is a fine pistol!!
you are GTG with almost any P226 OP. cheapest model you can get with all the features you want. like if you don't like night sights, you don't need to spend the extra for the models that have it on there already vs the regular contrast sights.Comment
