I know a million people have posted about it, but my Ruger 22/45 bolt won't close all the way. There's about a millimeter between the bolt and the rear of the gun. How many goats do I need to sacrifice to get this fixed.

Mine did that too. Mine is new, so it did it first time out now and then, even though I polished the bolt and tube before taking it out for it's maiden shoot. Wolff makes an extra power spring for it. It's a bit of a pain to change out, but if you follow directions it will go as desired. Below is a link to a sticky on Rim Fire Central that shows how to change it.

There is a small divot next to the chamber for the extractor. Mine goes wonky when that gets gummed up.NRA Patron Member
