    Noveske Pig on AR Pistol...legal?

    I've searched and can't find a sound answer/opinion.

Noveske Pig on a 10.5 (or 7.5) AR pistol in California. Is there a relatively definitive "legal or not" conclusion?

I'm not looking at other brands or designs as it pertains to this question.

    why wouldn't it be legal?

no laws that I am aware of would prohibit it on a pistol in CA.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

        It's a pistol.

Doesn't matter if you have a flash hider, muzzle brake, comp, thread protector or nothing at all.

If you're building a featureless rifle, then you can't have a flash hider.

You can do whatever you want with a pistol.

Yes, legal. Since its a pistol with a fixed mag, the threaded barrel and muzzle device (comp or flash suppress) are not prohibited... yet.

... on a non maglocked semi-auto pistol. and also perfectly legal to have a threaded barrel on non-semi-auto pistols, with or without a maglock

so does that mean an ar pistol with a bb will "permit" a threaded barrel?

                  thanks all for your replies.

                    Yup
                    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The weight will pull down the muzzle. It won't be well balanced on pistol. The KX5 is a better choice.

If you have a shorter than 7" barrel it seems to be okay.

There are options that are much cheaper than the Pig and just as effective. For example, you can get a Damage Industries brake and redirector shroud for under $70 total.

FS: Atlas Bipod, Custom G23 RMR slide, ETS mags, Jagerwerks, Recover G26/27, CZ Scorpion bits, etc.

The KX3 & KX5 are "boosters" that improve the reliable cycling of AR pistols with barrels 10.5 inches and shorter. The only difference is the KX5 is slightly smaller in diameter to permit fit inside of a slim-line key-mod rail.

                              Yes, they are legal.
