I am seeing these older Sigs that I don't think are on the roster anymore on GB for sale. Can CA residents buy them from private party and have them shipped to CA FFL? Or should I restrict myself to just drooling at such good deals?

Buying older guns not on roster

You can buy them from other CA residents.
If the gun might be C&R, a particular copy had been manufactured 50 years or more before the purchase date, those are exempt from the Roster.
But out of state off-Roster non-C&R handguns may go only to those CA resident purchasers who are exempt from the Roster. That's principally LEO.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good! -
Thank you, Librarian. I will stop wasting time ogling at out of state handgunsComment

Cat is out of the bag. Those pricks made it harder now to SSE handguns so if you WANT an off roster, make sure it is not a .22lr and buy it on gunbroker and rush it to OCA or someone else that can make them SSE. And please check with that store that they can and will SSE it.
Tomorrow my Sig P320 ships.
When I go to OCA to start paperwork on it my g/f will pick up her Ruger 22/45 Lite and I just finished getting a Glock42.
Also, look around in the forum here, some folks already prolly have your handgun and they will PPT it to you because they do not shoot it enough. It will need to be FTF, but you can get it that way at any time IIRC.
Handgun roster mainly/only deals with dealers selling new firearms to people. but if it is PPT, it is exempt from the roster.7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...
Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...
And remember- 99.9% of the lawyers ruin it for the other .1%...Comment
