Wonder if anyone has a Glock 17 and a 19. What's your opinion of the handling ease and shooting ease of either?

No need to get both. If you want to carry the glock then G19 is the way to go though people carry g17's also but it's not easy to conceal. Very light recoil on both guns and you will notice better accuracy at longer range with G17. I carry a G19 and some mean fast rounds and it's great. Make sure the one you get is the generation 4.Comment

I have both; the 17 for USPSA and the 19 for carry (until recently).I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!Comment

It's pretty simple, the 19 is the version of the original Glock with concealed carry in mind.
Switching between the two is not a problem for most.

As stated by others it really depends on what you want to do with it. My EDC is a Glock 19 and is easily concealed.Comment
