Additional PPT after getting gun out of jail

I read somewhere that there is no limit to PPT transfers but if you are buying from an FFL, you can only buy once every 30 days.

So I am going to put the deposit on a pistol today, which means on the 16th I can have it with me. Now I want to get a German P226 in a PPT transfer. Do I have to wait until next year for this? Or can I have this PPT this year?

No limit on ppt, unless you do it in Los Angeles.

No, one handgun from dealer stock, new or used, every 30 days.

Any number of handguns, new or used, from a private individual - no 1 in 30 except in the City of Los Angeles.

        New/used does not matter.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Thanks. Would this also cover handguns shipped from private individual to FFL?

            NO.

To be considered a PPT both must be CA residents and both must be in the LGS at the same time.

ANYTHING else is considered being sold from dealer stock.
            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

A used consignment gun from a dealer is also considered a PPT. The seller doesn't have to be present. The dealer submits a second piece of paper with the sellers info along with the DROS forum. Not sure how this works in Los Angeles.

Exactly. A consignment sale is a PPT that occurs without both parties appearing at the same time. The laws says two CA residents must appear at the same FFL for a PPT, but they do not have to appear at the same time.
