Didn't buy a single SSE pistol. I already have a dozen handguns, most are C&Rs. Modern pistols are boring compared to my 1911, Astra 600, TTC Tokarev, P64, P38, CZ82, CZ50, Nagant. Only moderns I own are a SA 1911-A1 Loaded, an M&P Shield 9 (Ca model) and a SR22 I bought before California booted it off the roster. Congrats to all who did score the SSE pistols they wanted before the 2015 ban hammer drops. I am convinced that SSE II will be here soon and you will have a choice of some off roster pistols but possibly not the name brand popular ones like VP9, PPQ, etc. Keep pulling for and hoping for a constitutional ruling on Pena vs. Cid, Kamala needs another defeat soon.

PTR from Atlantic with the 12" barrel. I have 1 sse slot left but too worried about long term ability to use the brace.

The grips are kinda crappy and I intend to change them out for G10 Piranhas.
beavertail is purely for looks, as well as front serrations, for me at least.

funny thing is i dont mind the grips on the MK25, and the g10 piranhas i swapped off my scorpion and threw on some uncle mikes OM grips I got from the PIF thread..

I wish i could have gotten a cz97 either variant and an sp01 .40 either variant. Other than that i am quite content.

Really? How much do you want for them? Or are you keeping them in case you might need to resell the Scorp?

Ha, ha! I must admit, I was tempted by the PPQ and the VP9 but then I had to look at the safe and see all of the riches contained within and think, "Why do I need/want another 9mm plastic pistol? I have the first plastic (sort of) pistol, the Ruger P95DC, I have ruggedly built steel historical 9mms (P38, Astra 600) and I have a new plastic fantastic subcompact 9mm (M&P Shield 9). Couldn't think of a good enough reason to pay the money so common sense won out.

But I am truly glad that it sounds like most of you got what you wanted through SSE. If we don't win Pena vs. Cid, you guys gambled and it will pay off. Even if we do win Pena vs. Cid, you all hedged against inflation and price increases so it's a win-win.

Thing is a $5 connector and you basically can have a Glock shoot just as good. I've grown accustomed to how to shoot my Glock that the VP9/PPQ's "ergonomic" grips don't really wow me.

I will miss out on: Rifle Dynamics RD710P, Warren Tactical 1911, Walther PPQ M1, Sphinx bi Tone, Glock 34 Gen4 (in the order of my personal desirability)

I woke up from my SSE slumber late into 2014. Some pistols have such long wait lists, it was too late to get on (Warren Tactical, Rifle Dynamics), but most were skipped due to the lack of SSE slots. I was lucky enough to score a few CZCs and a CGW as I had already put my name on their lists.

SSE's I've whiffed on (seen at store and passed):

                                - Sig P320
                                - Sig 938
                                - Colt Rail Gun (twice!)
                                - Springfield XDs
                                - H&K P30S
                                - HK45c
                                - Steyr M9A1
                                - Walther PPQ 5"
                                - Walther P99AS

And that's not including the rest of my wishlist, haha. Obviously I can only get one through SSE, if I can find a store selling one. Still some time left this month, albeit not a lot. Wish me luck.
