Now that December SSE is over for most of us, and SSE threads are soon to be over also, name your SSE regrets (future PPT).....Here are mine and my regrets...

1) Sig MK25 (non-loaded chamber indicator), below is what is available =(


2) Sig P226 .40 (any version), there are two on the roster, but both have loaded chamber indicators =X


3) Browning Mark Hunter 22LR, the one I regret the most because it's a beautiful unit....

DOJ roster says otherwise? CA edition clearly stated, and reference to the Sig website, it also states LCI, unless I'm missing something here...

My California 229 needed a repair when new and I waited a long time for backordered special barrel and other parts. Luckily I was able to replace it with a SSE version quickly even though I have only learned of the SSE 6 months ago.

mine would be a Sphinx SDP, Walther PPQ and Dan Wesson Valor. AR pistols dont interest me much but i think ill probably regret not getting one.

The two standard capacity mags that came with my P320 were blocked so that the 10th round barely fits. I can't chamber the first round unless the slide is back when the magazine is inserted. The ten rounders I bought work fine.

Not a regret, but stinks anyway. Awesome gun.

Does that abbreviation stand for private party 'taxed', lol. So the P229. 40 has no LCI but it's sold out everywhere. Looks like others knew this information before me and probably bought this for their next DROS 2015 as it is off roster on April 17th, 2015. I will not PPT here on Private Sales, 75% of people tax for a use unit and 25% help others due to moving or quick sale. I'll probably keep my eyes open or hopefully this thread helps a bit also. More importantly I regret joining late and miss out on the Browning 22lr as I think that specific model is hard to come by...

If you really want to remove the LCI from the MK25, you can reach out to Sig Customer Service for a non-LCI version of the slide. Will cost, of course, but what doesn't? Also could try selling the LCI version to recoup some of the costs.

Sig will most likely renew it. Highly doubtful it will fall off roster. Every gun on the roster has to be renewed by the manufacturer annually. As long as they haven't made any modifications to it, which I do not believe they have planned, you are golden.

Sig is my last range DROS, and from there I'm collecting antiques which meet no range time.
