I want to buy a Gen 4 G23, G27, and G34, and a Sig P320, and P938, so I thought about posting in the want to buy subforum. But would anyone selling the aforementioned popular pistols even bother looking in the WTB section? Or would they simply list the guns in the for sale section (which would be my guess)? Thinking about it, I was wondering if anyone has ever had luck finding a seller by posting in the WTB section? I would think the answer is no, but stranger things have happened. Anyone have a WTB subforum success story with a popular handgun?

WTB subforum?

Yeah the WTB section is kinda a let down because you have to specifically visit there to find something you forgot you had and would sell.
I also think the main for sale forums (Parts, Pistols, Rifles) should be broken up by NorCal vs SoCal and include WTB posts in them. I think we would all be better served. If you look at some of the WTB posts now, they have been bumped over 50 times.
I spend too much time wading through sale posts in SoCal and I am sure the opposite happens for people down there. I think it would cut down on the extremely high front page turnover of posts too, which is a pretty good indication that some type of split needs to happen again.Comment

Its worked for me, but I wasn't looking for a specific model, just a complete AR lower.Comment

I used the WTB section and was able to score an unfired PSL. It won't hurt to try. Maybe you will get lucky.Comment

I've used the WTB forum to score about 60% of my Calguns acquired firearms.
It works for me.Comment

If you don't have an SSE slot left, your gonna have to PPT anyway.
SOOO...be prepared to buy everything on your list via the WTB or the forsale sections, or some other way.
Your gonna have to watch the ads and jump on the ones you want.
And your gonna have to keep up on a WTB ad, and PM people that maybe selling.
It's gonna take SOME work on your part.....those guns aren't gonna fall into your lap.
