Probably finish up my Sig collection with a P220 Combat if I can find one, now I will have a Sig in all popular caliber choices. Finish selling off all of my Gen 4 Glocks and get a 308 in either PTR or M1A(strongly leaning towards the M1A loaded, something I've been putting off because of SSE.

Also learn to reload, if I buy the M1A.

If you're talking about self defense, I'm sure most Cal Gunners are more than prepared.

If you're talking about the impending Zombie invasion, I'm sure most Cal Gunners have their 30s ready to lock and load.

I've been buying mags for longer than I had the actual weapons. Mags are/were cheap. The ARs were much more. I was a forward thinker.

The S&W 929 has my eye. But it's likely to be the last or only thing this year ... too many SSE guns waiting their turn at the firing line!

The pistol forum topics are basically SSE (SSE2), or PPQ/VP9 gouging. I think that's the worst part of SSE ending.

Ya, worst than being bored is getting the junky shake when I see a gun I want to buy but can't because I'm a Californian...

                  Californians are so child like.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

Maybe complete an 80% AR lower? Not really my thing anymore.

Your gun safe must be the size of my house! Because there is all kinds of crap out there I want that we can still get here in CA.

Don't get me wrong...I hate the roster. Just sayin'...my wish list is still pretty damn long! Much longer than the zeros in my bank balance.

If anything it gives me an excuse to focus on long guns for a while while hopefully we find a way to get rid of the roster all together.

Right right, sure sure...we all did that. On my first birthday, my Dad bought me VP9 magazines, really, he did!

Oh, and then I bought a house and the previous owner had a box of high cap magazines just left there, lucky me!

I kick myself...in 1998, my friend was telling me that I should just buy an AR-15 lower (colt or bushmaster) and register it. I had no idea what he was talking about since I was new to guns, so I didn't get one... bah! I did however start my handgun collection with Glocks and normal Glock mags, I wish I had more of them, but back in 1998, you could buy and sell normal capacity magazines, but you couldn't MAKE or IMPORT them into the US, so a 13 round Glock 21 magazine cost about $100, but was find to buy, sell and possess.

Sounds like a junkie suffering "withdrawl"...

I am feeling the same way... no thrill of the hunt, the logistical challenges, the satisfaction of the kill. Add in a little depression in so much as there is NOTHING that I want to buy new off the roster.... so all I am left with is cruising the classifieds here...

After the last few years we just got conditioned to buy buy buy and now that SSE is over the next in line is roster revolvers. We'll always have an excuse to buy something, it's the American way!
