Sending gen4 glock back for repair

Good evening all. I recently purchased a gen4 glock 17 through sse

Question 1: If i send the firearm to glock for repair, can they send it straight back to me and not through FFL?

Question 2: Say my frame cracks and glock decides to replace it, will they still be able to send me a new frame when the roster is still around and no more SSE?

But, it's possible that you can say "OK, my gen4 frame is cracked, replace it with a gen 3", then they can send it to an FFL without SSE.

But then, they might as well send a whole new gun since you'd need a new slide (because of the recoil assembly fit)
