Good deal for GP 100 in 4" SS

The stainless 4" GP100 is not that easy to find. So I would buy it before its gone. I looked around for a while. I finally ended up getting a blued 4" and i Love it. Havent even shot it. I was about to start thread on whats a good front sight and ammo.

In my experience most of turners sale prices are the same as others everyday prices. That seems like a decent price, you may save some by going used but not much. I was looking for one but ended up with a s&w 686-4 instead. I still plan on picking up a gp100 whe I find one because they are a great gun.

The GP100 SS 4.2" goes for $575 shipped or so online, so this is not a terrible deal.

But the new GP100 4.2" Match Champion is going for $650 online, and they are on the roster now. I have seen them as low as $610 shipped. I personally wouldn't buy a regular GP100 4" SS for $650. Even if you add on a $25 - 40 transfer fee, the GP100 MC is worth it. This will be my first handgun of 2015.

Well the guy I got my GP off of did a crap load to it.

For starters they god rid of the infamous "Ruger billboard", re-polished the entire gun, trigger job, comp trigger spring, included the black factory sight, factory red sight, F/O sight with inserts. 3x speed loaders. Factory hogue grip, factory wood grips with panels, "semi custom" hand finished stag horn grip inserts.

I think there was a few other things but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

There was a LOT of time, and effort put into this gun before I got it. I'm just glad they had a sense of taste.

Discount shooters in Roseville had the blued gp100 for $509 this weekend. My dad bought one before we even researched price, seeing what they go for now he pretty much got a steal!

I think the blued version is a great deal. I wouldn't spend $150 more just for stainless. If I was looking at stainless, I'd get the Match Champion.
