which .45 pistol next?

I'm open to suggestions on my last .45acp. I'm thinking fnx 45, m&p45 usp45, or sig p220. I already have a couple 1911's, but still open to something new.

Ideal budget, under $750..... I know a couple of the listed are over the budget.

For a cheap .45 that is very reliable and accurate, check out the Sar K2 .45. Very under rated gun, but great in value. The Sar can be had for $500 out the door.

glock 21 should be around the same price out the door if you want cheap, but I think the HK USPC45 would be an awesome addition

Range Officer Compact is in your price range. I've got about 500 rounds through mine and like my Loaded it continues to get better and better. Out of the box, the trigger was **** and broke at about 7lbs and very gritty. After 500 rounds and hundreds of dry fires, it now breaks smoothly at 5lbs, 3oz.

Fit and finish is very nice and tight with the exception of the ejector protruding from the rear of the slide about 3/32".

FO front site is better than the typical white dot but I'll probable swap it out with some sort of night site.

Overall, I'm very happy with it and think its going to make a great carry gun. One of these days when I have the time and I'm done with mods I'll give it a full review.

Take a serious look at both the Glock 41 and the Sig 227. Don't let anyone tell you the 41 is the same as the 21. While they do share the same frame, the longer and thinner slide on the 41 makes it feel and shoot completely different. The Sig 227 feels just about like the 226.

Now just went back to this. Picked up a 18 year old UNFIRED USP 45 from a Calgunner. Pick up Monday, and Im now at ease for .45.

At that price point, I vote M&P or USP if you want polymer and P220 if you want all metal

Well I picked up my M&P 45 on Thursday. It's nice. Especially for the money. Sig are nice too. I'd probably go for the P227 over the P220 though. But that's me. I wouldn't mind having and FNX either.

Personally, I must say, having owned an HK USPf 45 for many years now, I can't think of a better pistol (if it fits your hand)---I can't seem to miss with mine and reliability is first rate. And now, I believe there is a $200 rebate on these currently...

+1 to @someoneeasy's suggestion, especially at that price. I have seen is sold for higher than $670 (more like close to $800 OTD)
