cz75b 9mm & .40 mags interchangability?

Looking for anyone's experiences on the newer mec gar mags with the blue followers. There aren't any 9mm 10rd mags in stock that I can find and looking for an alternative (at a normal price).

There is an older thread about it, but can't revive it. So pardonmynoob.

Technically they can interchange. You can use the 40s&w mags in a 9mm CZ handguns and will function. However..do so at your own risk

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? And where's the fire? I'd just continue shopping for the correct ones...

Have you checked lanbosarmory? He might have them or at least the older ones. I purchased quite a few rebuilds and 10rd mags from him back in the day. I'd stick to finding the 9mm ones. Why even consider using a different caliber mag?

Oh they'll fit. In the mag well. An lock in place even.
Will they feed 9mm? Never tried never plan on it. I would just buy normal ones.

I can't find any 9mm 10rd mags that aren't stupidly priced ($40+). So I had read that 40s&w mags, loaded with 9mm, will work.

I have a 75bd 9mm, looking for a couple more mags.

This is how i prefer to buy CZ mags. Unfortunately it can get a little pricey.

OP you might check the lead time with Greg Cote to restock the Mecgar 10's.

Not on cz but I tried 40 mag on my sig sp2022 9mm. It ran just fine. However you can load more than 10 9mm rds on the 40 mag.

No, .40 will not work properly in a 9mm.

That is a practice I would not get used to, if you are found with a higher capacity magazine things can go bad for you in a hurry
