              looks don't matter, how does it feel and when you take it to the range how does it help (or hurt) your shooting.

              Remember that's what's really important.

              ( if looks were the most important thing we would all be shooting chrome plated Colt 1911s with mastadon ivory grips.)

              & I also have seen worse.
              I've seen a Glock missing two inches off bottom of its grip due to over aggressive dremeling.

              they call it "Stubby".

                      Do you get more traction on the grip? If so, it's a success. If you were doing a stippling job just for looks... meh.
