Tanfoglio elite match ftw! It's pretty sweet right out of the box, and the box is really nice too.

Since picking up my P-09 I've already polished the underside of the sear, installed the perfection extended firing pin and new fp retainer, and 13# hammer spring. Also ordered some CGW parts like the oversize roller, reduced power fpb spring and higher power sear spring. I'll end up getting the CZ comp hammer for the P-09 from CZC. The short reset disco and fp lifter from CGW .

CZ newbie question... Did you leave the de cocker or go with the safety instead? Which is the preferred setup for a smooth trigger pull? I like the decocker, and not really sure if that's the best configuration.

For now I left it in the decocker configuration. You can have a smooth trigger pull in either configuration, the contact parts just need to be smoothed up and polished or replaced with upgraded parts.

Everything was looking good with the P09 until I started looking for mags. Unless I'm missing something, there aren't any 10 round mags available for it. Ya I can get mags and get them blocked, but how the heck do you clean the mags if they're sealed shut? I'm gonna have to rethink this I was really liking the P09 too. SP01??? 75b??? This is one of the reasons why I went with Glocks - parts are everywhere.

Not quite the solution, but I just couldn't help myself... Put this in jail today:

Personally i dont clean non range/ training mags as i have never had one get dirty and not work.

Training mags get dirt and dents etc. Tossed or kept fot malfunctiom practice when they get problematic

I pick up my P-09 in 7 days, and it's funny to think that my least expensive gun might turn out to be my favorite gun. The P-09/P-07 models are CZ's first to have the Tenifer slide and internals also.

Find a FFL that just places a mag block part inside the magazine and closes it normally. Nothing sealed shut.

Just wondering... I thought the mag had to be sealed to be legal? I guess I'm going to have to look this up.

It has to be "permanent" and as long as the mag block is in there it can never take more than 10 rounds. Once you disassemble it you are in possession of a parts kit for a high cap magazine though so legally you are not supposed to take it apart to clean it.

The CZ polymer series of guns are truly the best, hidden thing on the market today. I too own many Glocks, from a competition 34 to a 10-8 version of the 17 to a 19 that I carry concealed.

However, none of my Glocks meet the accuracy or trigger ignition quality of my CZ's.

Can't go wrong with them. Especially the P09...

I ended up with a CGW Pro-package on my P07/09... It makes you go from smile (stock) to evil grin (package installed).

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.
