Get both I enjoy my 97B and P220 Match Elite very much.

Every sig i've owned i've sold. I think the CZ is better.

I sold all of my Sigs and HK's as well. Out of the box, the Sig's trigger feel smoother but the CZ's are more ergonomic and has far more potential for the end user for modding it themselves.

I used to be concerned about the size of the slide but since my CZ's have run flawlessly for years while nearly every other type of handgun I have seen has failed, that is no longer a concern.

That being said, I wish I would have tried out other CZ clones such as Tangfoglio/EAA sooner.

I like the p226. shot my buddy's cz sp-01.. both feel great. I am on the fence about it. I like sigs to begin with. CZ is heavier and less felt recoil. that is nice. but its a safety model and I like decocker models. I will tell you I am looking around for the CZ in a decocker. you won't be disappointed with either. but you gotta try both and decide which you like better.

Looking at the sp01. Feels amazing. Is it as good as a Sig 226 ?

I have always liked how Sigs look, they look like fighting guns. Unfortunately i have never shot them real well.

If you have the opportunity OP, rent an SP-01. This is the best way to size things up.
