Took receipt of a GP100 Match Champion yesterday (my first revolver). Not only do they seem harder to find (just during the past 30 days) but looks like price is slowly increasing.

If you pick Ruger and sort by caliber, and then look for GP in the part number, you get this:



All you have to do is then GOOGLE those part numbers, and you will know which GP100 are on the roster and offered for sale in CA:

For instance the link you provided to KYGUNCO, is model 1705, which is part number KGP-141.

However model KGP-141 / 1705, is offered in 4.2" barrel and 4.0" barrel. Only the 4.0" barrel is rostered in CA. You can see that here (as well as the roster above which says 4.0" bbl): http://www.ruger.com/products/gp100/...eets/1705.html

So that KyGunCo 4.2" model you linked to, is not approved for sale here.

Personally I would be looking at KGP-141MCF - which is the Match Champion. It will be my first pistol buy in 2015. http://www.ruger.com/products/gp100M...on/models.html

The short answer to your question is YES, that model is on the roster if you find it with the 4.0" barrel not the 4.2" barrel.

The Ruger Alaskan in .44 mag falls off the list on the 30th of this month if they don't re up.
