I got to handle the new Ruger LC9s (new striker fired) at OC Armory at lunch today. They had 1 in stock, and unfortunately someone started paperwork on it before I even left. Before he bought it, I got to fondle it for a bit.

The trigger is everything that has been hyped about... and reviewed by Hickok45 http://youtu.be/Opx_IFm0iQU . It's nice & smooth, relatively light. The reset however is long (probably almost full release before it resets)

Anyways, those of you still looking for a CCW or final SSE, you should take a look at these. OC Armory had it for $370 plus tax & DROS... so about $424 OTD...cheap. They might get some more... not sure.

Anyways, just thought you guys might want to know.
I almost got one, great gun but i ended up getting the shield 9mm NIB for $440 OTD! its overall a better deal IMO, bigger sights, 2 mags (7rd & 8rd) and easy to take a part, no tool needed unlike the LC9S

Oh, God forbid they send an off-roster recoil spring to California. It sounds like it's a total crapshoot with this company. Will never buy a product from a company that has a problem sending a damn spring to California.

Wow. Looks like you talked to the wrong person. I would call again and hopefully get someone to complete your request.

        Good luck...

So I did get the part in the mail yesterday (from my FFL, who had to go to Ruger on my behalf). Installed it this morning, so I am a happy camper now. Just some extra hassle.

Kind of funny. My LC9 whichbi carry daily, for almost 4 years and shoot bi monthly around 1200 rounds or so...BROKE after the 3rd fired shot last week. I was a bit heart broken as I rely on this for my and families life if needed.

Incredibly disappointed. But in reality all things mechanical can break. It was a spring that broke and the trigger would not reset.

Sent it to ruger, it was fixed and they replaced other parts as a overhaul..firing pin ect ect.

It was fixed within 2 days and returned to my door step next day air total of 7 days turn around.
