Personally I'm glad they put 25 cent sights on glocks. If they put high quality sights they have to charge at least $50 more. Then they'd only satisfy 10% of the people. 90% would ***** about having to pay more for sights they don't like.

The stock glock sights are really just a placeholder so people can add the ones they like. I think it's a smart move on Glock's part.

Why should we accept cheap plastic sights on a Glock when competitors offer pistols with metal sights on them and their guns with the same price range. If you ask me the price of a Glock ought to be about 80 bucks less to compensate for the fact that after I buy the gun I have to buy sights for it. Seems to make about as much sense as what you're saying.

Whoever complained about the magazines not being steel are morons. Glock magazines are steel, they just have a plastic coating on them.

Literally everything else listed is personal preference, and is something Glock has either remedied in different generations or has no reason to be changed..

glocks eat up the hot stuff, idk what u talkin bout. most manufacturers will not encourage you to use "overpressure" ammo for liability reasons.

Not recommended by Glock. I want a pistol for which Glock will affirm use of +P+ ammo, not recommend against it. I'd like to use the same ammo I use in my Ruger P89 which Ruger confirmed would handle the +P+ loads without issue. Rugers are bricks after all. But I will not use the same ammo without a manufacturer specifically O.K.ing it.

Eh, Glock is perfect that way it is. Way before all this stippling, mods, tier 1, 2, 3, 4 crap became popular, no one complained.

Glock has the lightest weight with lowest bore axis. That's what I want if I'm going to carry a 45. I'm ok with the standard 8 round 1911 mags and I own a lot of them.

I like the square Glock slides, make mine a 5", with a slim frame that takes 1911 mags...that's greatness!

No, glock does not have the lightest weight with lowest bore axis.

Steyr does.


Steel sights = Steyr
Better of of box trigger = Steyr
Lower barrel axis = Steyr
Better grip angle = Steyr


In my opinion, Glock doesn't need to change anything.

You want a 1911 grip angle buy one or an XD
You want to use 1911 mags with crappy feed lips - buy a 1911
You want steel sights - buy them
You want no finger groves - buy a gen 2 or get out your dremel.
You want an undercut frame - get out your dremel
You want a 1913 picatinny rail - go find a ambidextrous G21SF like this

The whole purpose of different manufactures making different firearms is because we are all not the same. We do not have the same grip, the same vision, the same training or the same wants and desires.

What works for me is not necessarily going to work for you and vice versa.


A better out of the box trigger would be my only request from Glock. Other than that, it's a combat weapon that works as designed.

Glock listen up, I'm sick of wrapping a cable lock around the handle of my Glock case in order to lock the case. It would be nice if I could just use a padlock to lock the case. Almost every other brands cases can be locked by a simple padlock.

I love them the way they are, but since you're asking.

Make the finger grooves an OPTION.

Make a normally rifles barrel as an OPTION, so we don't have to buy aftermarket barrels to shoot lead bullets. Ie; let the gun come with poly or standard rifling out of the box.

Replace the Glock loader with an Uplula!

Go back to Tupperware boxes! LOL! j/k!

1. Better magazine release. A true ambi release would be nice.
2. Front Cocking serrations.
3. More agressive undercuts under the trigger guard.
4. Use a real barrel instead of the Polygonal BS.

Ditto. Especially for a 'duty gun' that will always be in and out of situations where it needs to be "fully secured" and knocked around. Case should be able to hold 5 mags with moderately intelligent use of empty space. Any case should work with standard size padlock AND work so the lock doesn't protrude past the case, so the case remains a simple box. Does Mr Glock need me to show him how? I'm up for a trip to Austria anytime.

Angle on Glock suits me, I was sold after my first offhand shot with buddies G34 took out a beer can at 30yds (which is really good for me).

Grips on 3rd gen 35 seem really slick with sweaty hands or dry(cool weather) hands. How did they get to 3rd gen without addressing it?

I do think the flat top helps use the sights (at least for me). People have said same about side-by-side shotguns vs other configs.

I like being able to store a .40 in the open space of the back strap. Can always have a Snap-Cap handy to test function, and/or have an 'emergency bullet'.

I agree with a more friendly case locking design. I think the Gen 3's were the perfect designs and that's all I choose to own. A larger undercut trigger guard would be nice, but all in all I like my Glocks the way they are right out of the box.

I'm really surprised that people are talking about the Glock case.

I always figured it was kind of like a grocery bag. Bring it home, put the goods away and throw away the bag, or in this case, the cheap plastic container. Besides, they're much too big to put 3 or 4 of them in a range bag and too flimsy to use as a range box and even if it was ok, who's gonna carry a stack of them to the range? I'd rather Mr. Glock give me a $2 discount and hand me my gun in a brown paper bag

But, come to think of it I've seen WTS ads here for people wanting to sell their plastic box for $25 so what the heck do I know?
