Have you called around to the Wilson Master dealers and see if any of them have something you like...and can transfer it in? Master Dealers usually have some of the best pricing.

I have called Wilson Combat not too long ago, like 6 weeks ago perhaps!

Wasn't much help from them and the guy I spoke too have no idea why he cannot added CA compliant WC 1911 into cart.

Then he told me best bet is find one on Gunbroker or some place online.

Anyway, let me know if anyone want to sell me one!

It's actually more cost effective to get a CQB with elite options.

Try Gun World in Burbank. Probably not the most famous LGS here at CGN, but I did see one there before. It was gone in an instant but maybe they have one coming in soon? Worth a call.

IIRC, they were asking $3,900 + tax + DROS for it.

This. The Elite is just a CQB with some options, which was relevant in the past when the base model CQB wasn't a full Bullet Proof gun. Today, it is. The Elite will probably get discontinued, now that a CQB with the same options is actually cheaper, and so many online dealers offer well optioned CQB's for sale.

George at Gunslingers is fantastic, I have purchased at least 6-7 1911's from him. Tractus is very well respected, and Jerry Hammond at Hammond Gun and Tackle is another great option.

Of course you'll need to buy something in stock, GunBroker has tons of great guns. It would be impossible to put in a custom order for any of the big 1911 shops right now and have the gun in time for SSE.

I really feel bad for Californians who ordered custom Wilsons late last year or early this year. Those guys probably won't be able to have those guns. Hopefully they can get their deposits back!

Wilson Combat is the most popular semi 1911 out there. The most in demand, the longest wait list. That means there is a TON of supply out there on gunbroker and the internet. You absolutely should not settle on what's available locally.

All of those guns listed on Gunbroker and the shops recommended above are not on the Kalifornia approved list. I guess I would need a shop that has the ability to do a SSE transfer.

Migunslingers and tractus are ca friendly and understand that SSE ends this year..

They are definitely selling a lot to California right now....

Addax Tactical, EBR Works, riflegear, probably a couple more that I forgot. SSE is no big deal.
